Our instance of Sakai is different from Blackboard because we don't delete your courses each semester as we needed to do because of storage with Blackboard. While this has many advantages for faculty (namely you always have access to previously taught courses and don't need to archive your courses each semester), it can make course management a challenge. Sakai provides an easy to use system for managing all of your older Sakai course sites. This knowledge base article will walk you through viewing all of your courses and prioritizing which ones appear in your active navigation tabs in Sakai.
- Click the More Sites tab to see all of your active Sakai sites, including those that don't show in the tabs.
- To change which sites appear in your navigation tabs, click the Preferences link in the More Sites window.
- Follow the instructions on your screen for dragging and dropping with your mouse or moving with your keyboard to reorder which of your Sakai sites show as tabs.
