Student Health Services provides free, ambulatory outpatient care during the academic year while students are in attendance at the College. All incoming freshman and transfer students are required to provide a medical history, a physical examination, and proof of required immunizations. A physical exam is performed for students planning to participate in intercollegiate athletics.
Students may schedule an appointment or you may walk in without an appointment for assessment, evaluation, and possible treatment by the College Nurse or Nurse Practitioner. Students may be referred to our physician if necessary, or to another medical specialist in the community.
A physician from the Washington Hospital has regular hours each week. After hours or if serious and immediate medical attention is required, the student should seek treatment at the emergency room of the Washington Hospital or other emergency provider. Students are free to find medical attention on their own at their own expense.
