The following departments and programs have placed specific restrictions regarding which courses can be applied toward the major.

Math Major

Courses that must be taken at W&J

MTH 308

MTH 217

Economics, Business Administration, and Accounting Majors

Courses that must be taken at W&J

BUS major: ACC 211, BUS 301, 302, 307, and 315

ACC major: ACC 211, ACC 311, 321, 331, 332, 341, 471, BUS 302, ECN 341

ECN major: ECN 101, ECN 102, ECN 201, ECN 202

Please note that it can be difficult to graduate on time if you defer taking all these courses in the major until the junior year. Therefore, students interested in these majors should consider taking some of these courses as Part-time W&J students while completing the CCAC associates degree.

Exceptions: ECN 101, 102, and ACC 211 can be taken at other institutions and count toward the W&J BUS/ECN/ACC  majors if the student takes a comprehensive final exam based on W&J’s course, and achieves a grade of at least 70%.

Psychology Major

Courses that must be taken at W&J

PSY 101

PSY 215 and the Advanced Laboratory Requirement

In general, “Introduction to Psychology” courses transfer to W&J as PSY 102 and carry the SSC designation. PSY 101 taken at W&J carries the NSM designation.
