Academic Technology creates an empty Blackboard course shell for every class at W&J. However, instructors must activate (or make available) their courses so students can see them. This is done so students do not see courses where faculty will not be using Blackboard.
Activating a Course Site (making a course available for students)
- Once in the course you would like to activate click the control panel link
- Click "settings" in the course options module (lower left-hand corner)
- Click "course availability" and select yes
- Click submit.
- Students will now have access to your course.
