Project Description
In October 2004, three W&J classes participated in a videoconference with member of the Global Nomad Group (GNG). This group recently took a trip to the Sudan region to learn first hand about the lives of the Sudanese refugees who have fled their country as a result of the conflict in Darfur. The GNG members shared their knowledge and insight into the situation with W&J students as well as their personal experiences and stories of working with the refugees. The students watched video clips of the trip, saw pictures of the camp, and asked questions to the GNG members.
