The Colleague DEUSI delivery process is ever changing and we seek your feedback in making this as useful as possible.

Datatel releases software updates for Colleague on a continuous basis, which requires us to be continually downloading, reviewing, and installing these updates.  The DEUSI was created to help facilitate the timely review of these updates by having staff members look for potential impacts that these updates may have to their area of Colleague.

For each round of updates, we will install them into Sandbox, and then deliver to you an Informer PDF report that lists the updates and their descriptions.  Review the updates to determine if any will affect your area, and if so, refer the Problem, Resolution, and Description sections for further detail.  Test any new features or changes in Sandbox thoroughly.  Respond to the DEUSI survey with any issues that were found, and whether or not you think the installation of the updates should be delayed.

Below is a sample portion of the report you will be receiving.


AN# - Answer Net number, can be used to look up more information on Datatel's client website (https://clients.datatel.com)

Application -  name of software update, also may state which application is affected

Problem - description of the problem that has been resolved

Resolution - how the problem was resolved

Delivered - date of software update release

Description - exhaustively detailed description of software update

Note: The Problem, Resolution, and Description text contains superfluous punctuation that may inhibit readability.  This is an unintended consequence of converting this information into a PDF report.
