To defrag or setup auto defrag please follow the steps below.
.) Click on the start menu.

.)Once the start menu is up please then click on the all programs tab above the search bar.

.)When the tab appears please then scroll down to the a’s area and click on the “accessories” link.

.)The folder should unfold and multiple options should appear. Like shown in the picture below. Please find the “System Tools” link and click on it.

.)Once the system tools folder has opened please find the “Disk Defrag” link and click on it.
.)A Windows UAC (User Account Control) dialog box should appear, unless you have the UAC options turned off, please press the continue button when the window appears.
.)The disk defrag utility should appear.

.)If you are looking to turn on auto defrag, then please click on the modify schedule button. A window should appear and here you can set up the time you want to run a defrag. I would suggest a time in the day when you are not using your computer, and I would also suggest running the utility weekly or monthly.

.)If you are looking to run a single defrag please click on the defragment now button. A window will appear and you can select which local disk you would like to defrag, and then click on the ok button.
