To run and use the system restore tool please follow the instructions below
1.) Click on the start menu.
2.) Once the start menu is up, please then click on the all programs tab above the search bar.

3.) When the tab appears please then scroll down to the a’s area and click on the “accessories” link.

4.) The folder should unfold and multiple options should appear, like shown in the picture below. Please find the “System Tools” link and click on it.

5.) Once the system tools folder has opened please find the “System Restore” link and click on it.

6.) A Windows UAC (User Account Control) dialog box should appear, unless you have the UAC options turned off, please press the continue button.
7.) A window should appear, please click in the balloon saying “Choose a different restore point” and then click the next button at the bottom right hand of the window.

8.) Please click the balloon highlighted by the red box on the picture below. This will give you a list of all possible restore points the system has to offer you. You may select anyone, note that next to each date there is a reason why the operating system decided to create a restore point; this is very handy if you know exactly when you want to restore back to. Please click the next button after you have picked your restore point

9.) You will then be taken to one last window, note that completing this step will restart your computer so please close all windows and save any work, please click the finish button in the bottom right of the window.
