  • Clothing Drive Success

In This Space

Alyssa Evanoff (‘16) was one of the 50 college students nationwide chosen to run an on-campus clothing drive through and H&M.

The collected articles of clothing will be used as secondhand goods (re-worn), converted into other products (reused), or turned into fibers that will eventually make new products (recycled).

By accepting her nomination, Alyssa agreed to come as close to the goal of collecting 4000 articles of clothing as possible during the drive, which ran from September 3rd until October 1st. In the end, the effort at W&J collected over 4,500 articles of clothing and ended in 10th place out of the 50 schools competing.

Great job to the students, faculty and staff who participated!
