The National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowships provide funding for three years of graduate study leading to research-based master and doctoral degrees. Eligible fields of study include mathematics, physical, behavioral, and social sciences, engineering, history of science, philosophy of science, and (research-based Ph.D.) seience education. Most recently, a fellowship consisted of a twelve-month stipend of $27,500 and a yearly cost of education allowance of $10,500. The program also offers a one-time international research travel allowance.
